The Creative Women’s Association is a volunteer-run not-for-profit building the first national infrastructure for the recognition, certification, and remuneration of women’s cultural work in Australia.

Donations to CWA support the development of the Heritage Skills Registry, the Women in Culture Awards, the CWA Minimum Standards for Cultural Work and Provenance, and the charitable programme A Room with a Loom — which provides hand looms, training, and guaranteed above-award income to women rebuilding their lives through cultural practice.
