CWA Fellowship Program

The Creative Women’s Authority™ Fellowship Program is the advanced, post-certification stream for leaders who have already completed the Creative Excellence Program (CEP) and earned the title of Certified Creative Practitioner™ (CCP).

Where the CEP builds professional standing, the Fellowship cultivates thought leadership, systems influence, and sector-wide innovation.

The Fellowship is where your discipline takes its next shape. You may choose to deepen your expertise, extend it into new sectors, or evolve it into something entirely new. This stage is about applying what you’ve learned in real-world contexts, building collaborations, and shaping work that carries national and cultural impact.

The Fellowship exists to:

  • Support focused research, practice, or system-change projects.
  • Position women as leaders at the intersection of creativity, economy, and public health.
  • Create new frameworks, methods, and knowledge for the future creative workforce.
  • Join National Dialogues through roundtables, sector forums, and global exchanges facilitated by CWA.
  • Attend Masterclasses led by national and international experts across health, education, design, policy, and enterprise.
  • Participate in Panels that bring Fellows into dialogue with government, industry, and community stakeholders.
  • Engage with Keynote Speakers — thought leaders shaping the future of work, culture, and wellbeing.
  • Contribute to Publications such as Scientific Notes or The Gazelle, sharing insights with a national readership.
  • Present Fellowship Work at a public showcase, positioning your practice as a catalyst for change.

The Fellowship builds not only depth of expertise but also breadth of influence. It ensures women’s creative leadership is visible, valued, and in the room where decisions are made.

The Fellowship directly responds to gaps identified in the Creative Workforce Scoping Study and adjacent research. It positions creative women not as peripheral contributors but as leaders of innovation, collaboration, and systems thinking.

Focus: A major Fellowship Project addressing a workforce gap, policy need, or innovation frontier.

Support: Mentorship from sector leaders, peer exchange circles, access to CWA’s research and networks.

Outcome: A Fellowship Portfolio and Public Presentation.

Applicants must:

  • Hold Certified Creative Practitioner™ (CCP) status.
  • Demonstrate capacity for independent research, practice-led inquiry, or sectoral leadership.
  • Submit a Fellowship proposal that aligns with CWA’s Verified Career Pathways and addresses identified gaps in workforce or community needs.

Graduates of the Fellowship earn the professional designation:
CWA Creative Impact Fellow™ (CIF)

This credential signals not only excellence in practice but also authority in research translation, systemic innovation, and cultural leadership.

“Creative practitioners are often working beyond traditional definitions — in systems change, health strategy, community development and more.”
