The Life I Deserve

“The most courageous act is still to think for yourself. Aloud.”. – Coco Chanel

A quiet statement. A simple fact.

Here’s the thing — being a woman? It’s not a disadvantage. It’s not a curse. It’s not something we need to apologise for.

We’re built differently. Designed differently.
We carry life. We build communities. We raise families. We hold jobs, households, teams, businesses, entire organisations — often all at once.

It’s not a complaint. It’s just the reality.
And with that reality comes a truth: we deserve systems that respect us, not drain us.

We deserve pay that reflects our contribution — not half of it.
We deserve to walk through the door at the end of the day and have dinner on the table, just like our male counterparts.
We deserve to create — not squeeze our creativity into the cracks between chores and work.
We deserve the space to breathe, the time to think, and the opportunity to lead — on our terms.

This isn’t about asking nicely.
It’s about stating the obvious: women do a lot, and most of it goes unpaid, unrecognised, or quietly expected.

That’s not how it should work.

At the Creative Women’s Association, we’re not here to fight biology — we celebrate it.
We’re here to change the systems.
We’re here to build spaces where women thrive — where creativity, connection, and contribution are valued equally.

The life I deserve isn’t extravagant — it’s fair. It’s supported. It’s ours.

If that sounds like your kind of community, you’ll fit right in.
