Founding Accredited Centre for Craftsmanship registration is open to studios, guilds, teaching spaces, and craft organisations that run regular sessions and teach craft skills. Register now and your centre becomes part of Australia’s first national network of verified craft centres — listed publicly in the Australian Crafts Alliance directory and on Which Craft?, the national public discovery map for craft.

then $99/year — locked permanently
Your founding rate never increases · Standard rate from 1 January 2027 is $169/year
A card is required to register but you will not be charged anything during your free 12 months. After that, your founding rate of $99/year applies — $70 less per year than the standard rate, for as long as your centre remains registered. Founding membership closes 31 December 2026.
What founding Centre registration means
Founding Centres are the organisations whose registration makes the Australian Crafts Alliance real. The founding period closes 31 December 2026 — after that, standard registration applies to all new Centres. Founding Centres keep their rate, their status, and their place in the founding record permanently.
What your centre receives
— Accredited Centre for Craftsmanship designation — the national recognition mark for verified craft teaching spaces
— Listing in the Australian Crafts Alliance directory and on Which Craft? — publicly searchable by makers, students, and the public looking for craft sessions near them
— Centre for Craftsmanship signage pack — window decal, interior poster, and digital badge files for your centre
— Membership of the Australian Crafts Alliance — the peak body for craft and industrial production in Australia, currently campaigning for formal sector recognition and an Australian Cultural Work and Provenance Act
— Access to the Founding Practitioner Member offer for your members — a direct link you can share so your members register individually at the founding rate of 12 months free then $25/month, locked permanently
What happens after you register
1. You complete your registration below and receive your login details by email.
2. You complete your Centre profile — your location, your session schedule, your disciplines, and your contact details. This activates your listing on Which Craft? and in the Australian Crafts Alliance directory.
3. You download your signage pack — window decal, interior poster, and digital badge — from your account.
4. You share the Founding Practitioner Member link with your members so they can register individually and receive their own UPI, marketplace storefront, and provenance record.
To register your centre, complete the form below. Your first 12 months are free — a card is required to register, but you won’t be charged until month thirteen, at your locked founding rate of $99/year.
