Southern Cross Marketplace — Product Label & Digital Product Passport · Visual Guide
What your product carries
Every item sold in the Southern Cross Marketplace carries a physical hang tag and a Digital Product Passport — a verifiable record of who made it, where, from what, and how. This is not a label. It is a declaration.
“Every link. Every hand. Every story. Verified.”
Step 1
Register your product
When you list a product in the marketplace, it receives a Registered Provenance Credential (RPC) — a unique identifier tied to your UPI and your verified maker record.
Step 2
Print your hang tag
Download and print the hang tag template below. Add your UPI, RPC, maker name, and product details. Attach it to every item before dispatch. This is your provenance in physical form.
Step 3
The DPP does the rest
The QR code on your tag links to your Digital Product Passport — a permanent, verifiable record your buyer can scan to confirm authenticity, origin, and maker identity at any time.
The Digital Product Passport
The Digital Product Passport is a permanent record attached to every registered product. It certifies authenticity, origin, material, craft, and maker — and it cannot be copied, transferred, or faked.
